There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Heart Cath

After failing a stress test less than a month ago, I had another heart cath done. I was constantly asked if I had any heart pain and told them none at all. The stress test showed that I wasn't getting enough blood back into the heart and it was believed that the stents needed replacing.

The first one was done two days after getting the Spyder in 2009. I had pain in my right shoulder after getting off the phone and it started moving down my arm. I felt worse and than bad and before that, Tammy had called 911. I had 3 stents put in a day later after I was stable and when my cardiologist got the heart cath in this time, he found some thing he had never seen before. Going into the next room to look at pictures of the first heart cath, he came out and looked on the monitor again and found a whole new artery on the right side of the heart. The artery with the stents in it was no longer in my body.

I was told that he will come out to talk to you in a few minutes and while I waited, the nurse removed the heart cath. He did come out and told me what he found and doing some further checking he said this is very rare to find and the odds of this happening is 1 in a 1000 if not more. He said your now stent free and I want to see you in my office in July. For now, you will be taken back to the prep area and as soon as the meds wear off, you'll be out of here by 7:30. It was about 2 and had 5 hours to wait, so went to sleep.

I spent more time in the billing dept. than I did on the table and I'm not complaining. It will be a while till I can get back on the Spyder and that is sitting in my new mobile garage. A friend of mine had an enclosed trailer he wasn't using and after cleaning it out brought it over to my yard. I was keeping it in his warehouse but now since the door is blocked with a travel trailer it has been here under a cover. I still have pain under the right rib cage where the wire used in the heart cath entered after moving up my right side from my groin/thigh area and will wait till that is gone.

I just thought I would let you all know, that heart problems don't always happen on the left side only and you do have an artery on the right side, that is for the blood returning to the heart. When it happened in 2009, I never knew it could happen on the right side and be aware if you get a pain in the right shoulder and it starts moving down your arm, call 911 and don't think its nothing. Better to be safe than worse off, if not dead. I did have a heart attack in 2009 and died when they removed the heart cath in 2009. I felt nothing and knew nothing, until I was told the next night by the nurse that worked on me in CICU.

Very true. Not all heart attacks act the same. One other thing to consider. Unless you're on blood thinners, take an aspirin if you think you may be having an attack. Thanks for the post and hope you're feeling better soon.

Great news!

Hope your recovery time passes quickly and just maybe.......you'll grow some more new parts too. :joke:

Glad you're doing well!

Good to know..!!

thanks for this valuable information..heal well and get back out there... :2thumbs:

Thank you all very much for the well wishes and prayers. I'm feeling a lot better and still have a little discomfort on the right side on this one lowest rib of the ribcage and talking to my cardiologists nurse, she passed this information on to him. He told her its nothing, I don't think I did but I could be wrong, if he didn't have this before. She told me to do nothing till I see him on Thursday July 31.

Since this procedure the weather has been dry with low humidity and each day it was getting worse with Spyder Fever. I couldn't do the things I like to do. Go to the range and riddle with holes, a few paper targets and most of all ride the Spyder. I just couldn't take it anymore and the days were dragging and I knew by the time I'm allowed to do what I like, it would be very humid again. Yesterday (Tuesday) I packed up my range bag and put the bag in the trunk with my friends Wesson and Smith in my vest pocket and fired up the Spyder, backing it out of the trailer. Closing the trailer I was off and went to the outside range about 40 miles from here and it felt great being back on the Spyder. Just like the first time I rode it, I had a big smile on my face and it only got better.

I bought Smith and Wesson a few days before this procedure and fired it for the first time yesterday. Its the M&P 9 mm and really like this model. I get to the range and see a 4 Harley's that I know the owners to and two of the them a couple gave me the trailer to use. This couple also picked me up from the hospital also knew I wasn't supposed to be there and most of all knew I wasn't supposed to be riding, till after seeing my doctor. They heard me pull in and knew it was the Spyder, since I often ride with them. I met them in 2009, when I blew past all of them on the Spyder and Iceman said to his wife, WTH was that? They followed me into a custom bike shop and we became friends right away. Trish, Iceman's wife smacked him on the arm and said I told you we should have changed the locks on the ramp door of the trailer. He said, he would have found a way to get the locks off and its true, I do have bolt cutters in my back room. We had a good time at the range and a nice comfortable ride home. They left me on the way since I live just a couple of streets up from the beach.

I stopped at Dollar General to pickup a couple of things and coming down my street, I'm wondering who is having a party. I get to my house and my yard is filled with cars and nothing gets me going more than not being able to park in my own yard. During the season, for extra coin I rent out 3 bedrooms to the same people every year, since the death of my oldest friend. Every other time, they have always asked first before having a party but heard nothing about one this time. I went inside and asked what's going on and going out back, I'm looking at beer bottles and cans every where and even in the pond. I found one of the renters and told her to get everyone out of my house now and clean this mess up. Then hear who is this bum and who does he think he is? I told this kid, I own the house and Wesson, Smith and I are not in a very good mood right now and take you beer and booze and get out of my house now and you got two minutes to do it. I even found people in my boat, playing with the VHF radio and to get them to move faster, I went back to get ARthur and 30 of his friends.

What a way to end a really nice day and before it ended, I had a sit down with this one renter. The others were working and told her, if you don't want to live with the agreement we have had for the last 3 going on 4 years, you can move someplace else. She called Tammy right away and Tammy told her, he owns the house and you live by his rules or you can move. I'm very easy to get along with but don't go against me. I told them all, if you want to rent the whole place it will cost you and I will move to another place, they know they are getting a good deal as it is now and end the season, with a nice hunk of change in their pockets.

Today I get to go replenish what I used yesterday and I think, I will use the Spyder to do it.

Just what you need to get your blood pressure up. Some people just don't have any regard for other peoples property.

Give an Inch and They Take a Mile!!

I go to the house from the in law apartment behind the house which I use instead, even though the house is big enough, but I like my privacy in the back and fill a small cooler with ice every other day and was told, why don't you just buy a bag of ice? I said who do you think just got done paying off this remodeled kitchen and appliances, along with the bathrooms? You expect me to go buy ice when I have a fridge with and ice maker it? She says well Tammy isn't here and I took over the kitchen and told her that can be changed real quick and Tammy didn't pay for the upgrades I did.

Believe me there is more but I don't want to bore everyone. I will only say I was a rated Boatswain's Mate while in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Exposed to Agent Orange in Da Nang on October 4, 1970 and don't take very much crap from a renter in my house.
