• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headphone Static Issue

I had the communications package installed a while back but have not used it until today. I purchased BRP headphones which easily installed on my full face helmet. I have found that each time I shift I get a faint high pitched squeel that comes through my right ear speaker. Upshifting or downshifting the problem happens. Any thoughts of a resolution?

Going to be riding 600 miles this weekend and just might go back to my Sena headsets paired with my IPhone.

The Sena dongle mod is so close................

I get the same thing with my dongle. Only is always there, but severity varies from ride to ride.

I have the same pitch with my BRP headset. I have gotten use to it and it doesn't bother me any more.

Listening a little closer on my ride home tonight it's also there when the audio is off and the engine is idling. I can hear a faint ticking almost like the plugs firing. If I bring the RPM's up the static goes away. The noise when shifting is still present. Wouldn't this probably be a bad ground or additional ground needed ?

Have the dealer check the ground, I have the same BRP set up, CB, Radio, Com, BRP headsets and don't have any static in the headset. If I have the CB on then I obviously get the odd blast of static from truckers.
