• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headlight question - will the poly lens come off the reflector pod?

Is it possible to remove/detach the the lens from the headlight pod? Some how it is dusty on the inside of the lens and I would like to clean it. Any suggestions?

I believe the answer is a resounding no! At least not without likely doing significant damage. Unless, it is put together with an adhesive that will loosen with heat, but don't count on it. About the best suggestion I can think of is to remove the headlight from the Spyder, and then remove the bulb. That will open up the assembly somewhat. Then try sloshing a cleaning agent with water inside, and then dry it out with air from a compressor or other blower. What the risk is of deteriorating the reflector coating with a cleaning agent I have no idea.

As an alternative you might try using a flexible plastic rod with a cleaning cloth attached through the bulb opening to wipe the lens.
