• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headlight Bulb Replacement

My 11 RT headlight bulb burned out and when I went to purchase another was told that BRP uses 2 wattages. The burned out bulb was a 60 watt and the dealer did not have any but had 2 65 watt bulbs. I was told that using two different wattages would cause a problem so I upgraded to 65 and it appears to be brighter. Just thought I would pass this along.

Interesting that they would not warranty a bulb less than a year old.

I`m surprised that they have two different watt bulbs already ! As was stated by Blue Star, I would push my dealer for the bulb under warranty . I know this is a wear item but come on less than 6 months old and its shot obviously a defective bulb.

Read your warranty about bulbs. Not covered.

Bulb must be made by GE, as I know the license plate bulb is. Stunmun is right that the bulbs are not covered by warranty, but we are not talking about a bulb that is years old either. I am just saying that in my opinion. Dealer should give customer service, and replace bulb. Then go after the manufacturer of the bulb, as it is obvious a detective bulb. Either way, since original poster is not worried about it, it is just my opinion.

While I'd love to agree with you; if it's not covered; it's just not covered... :gaah:
Bulbs are usually cheaper than a fight with the dealer anyway...
