• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headlight 2012 RSS Help

Morning, I am in the process of replacing a headlight bulb. Need your help/suggestions on how to get the new bulb installed. The manual said to turn counterclockwise to remove- could not get it to turn- finally got my finger on a tab inside the headlight tube to the outer or right side of the right light and pushed/pulled on the tab- it popped loose and was free with a little wiggling in a matter of seconds- I never did get it to turn ccw. It popped loose only after many attempts to loosen it by turning. Any thoughts now on how to get the new bulb reinstalled- it looks like it should be turned clockwise to get it in the permanent metal clamp/fastener at the front inside of the headlamp container-not having success! I have removed the gauge cluster and the upper side panels so I can get at it from the gauge area and from below but still limited room to maneuver. Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you. John

Finally figured it out! When I popped the bulb loose by pushing/pulling on one of the tabs, I bent it-just about stood on my head on the Spyder to get a good look at the permanent bulb fastener inside the plastic tube. There are two tabs which look like J shaped hooks or J slots-the bulb also has two tabs which fit/turn into the J slots. Once I straightened out the bent J slot it took about 30 seconds to line up the bulb and turn it clockwise into the J slots. 3rd and very long became a touchdown! Later. John
