• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a great ride out to Deals Gap. Went through Hot Springs to Maggie Valley and stopped to take this pic.

Right then I noticed my trailer and the back of the RT were covered in road grime. The roads were wet but I didn't realize they were that bad. Seeing it wasn't we now I found a car wash in Maggie Valley to blow the grime off before heading to Deals Gap. Had a great ride there and you could tell that Spring was in the air, there were plenty of bikes out and about. I had a Dragon Burger and headed back down the hill around 3:30pm. All and all it was a great ride and I averaged 28.7 mpg towing the trailer. It wasn't full but it wasn't empty either. The riding season is here for me.:2excited:

Agreed, very sweet. And I have to say that the more I see that wrap the more I like it. :2thumbs:

We are almost into the riding season here in the S.F Bay, but persistent rain is putting Spring on temporary hold. I've gotten wet nearly every day last week and this morning as well. It aint stoppin me though! Sure glad I have fresh rubber on; I never realized how bad that rear was! :yikes:

It's funny, I had a lovely little Harley gal come up to me when I was there and say that was the prettiest paint job she had ever seen. Made my day :doorag:

Doing the same soon

Planning a trip to Murphy NC in late April and weather permitting, plan to slay the Dragon. The first road trip on ours, we were caught in the rain and when we got home we too noticed the back was fairly well caked with grime. Makes me wonder how anybody saw my signals or lights. Might have to invent a rain diverter for that massive squeege that holds up the back of the bike. Meanwhile, thanks for the pics, off we go!

Indeed! The color is spectacular against the Black. And with the trailer being done it just gives the whole thing a nice flow and finished look. Great job!
