Heading to Saphire, NC for vacation - need ideas

I am going to Saphire, NC next week for some vacation time. Trailering the RT, and am looking for some ride ideas in the area. Anyone have some input?

Also, if there is something in the general area (have the car, so can go either on the bike or in the cage) that is a must-see while in the general area?

There are so many great rides in that area. Way too many to list. Look on motorcyleroads.com and choose North Carolina and they list a ton of them. I will agree with BajaRon on the wife part. Great scenic rides for her and if you ride alone, some great twisties nearby too. Tail of the Dragon is only a couple hours away also.

Ride the dragon! & take some time to enjoy lookout MT Chattanooga TN AWESOME views see 7states from 1 spot! & lots of history, can even go hang gliding fyi no crazy run off mountain stuff, there was a tow plane & training course I had a blast, good pics. Only shortage you will have is time to enjoy it all. Plz share what you end up doing

Check out waterfalls in the area, might make a route of them. Google for locations.

If you do the Dragon, continue down 28 and do moonshiner 28. Then you can stop and see some of the waterfall along the way.
