• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heading to Deals Gap in about an hour

Wish I could have gone with you. There would have been 2 Spyders on the front page of KillBoy... :'(

Had a great little ride today. The weather was just about perfect but for some reason I drove right at 100 miles before I saw my first bike. ::) I got in right at 300 miles today.

I took off from Greeneville TN and headed the long way to the Asheville highway. There are some great country roads and I was in no hurry to get anywhere. I had my XM going with Track 14 playing my favorite Bluegrass songs. Got off of 70 and headed toward Hot Springs NC and took 209 most of the way to Maggie Valley. I think 209 is one of my favorite roads around here. I was really working the Spyder on that road today. :D

My first stop was Maggie Valley where I met with Dale the owner of Wheels Through Time. He really dug the Spyder so I asked him if he wanted to ride it and he said you bet. He took off and spit rocks for 30' or better. He came back with a big ol grin on his face. :D It was cool to see him riding something that wasn't 80 years old or better. :D

Dale was getting ready to mow the lawn.

This is the bike they're giving away this year. It was Bad to the Bone.

Dale coming back from his ride. :doorag:

Stopped by the Kickstand Lodge for a pic.

Next stop was the Hellbender

River shot on 28

Got to Deals Gap and the Guys and Gals from www.EastTNRiders.com were there having a blast on some pit bikes. That was great fun to watch.

Worked the Dragon a bit and stopped for the photo shot. It was great to be in the wind again but there were more than a few time I was wishing I was on my 9 but I'm waiting on some seals so I can put the new rear-end back together. I hope to be on it next week. :doorag:

Lamonster,

Did you ever find anything to work on your XM radio while riding.I found out wireless headphones work, but still illegal(if caught in some states).A local dealer(hi-fi that is )may be coming up with a system that will work for the Spyder(I hope, but I have Sirius as my radio).Your machine looks cool and Thank You for the website.

Scary.

I still wear earbuds and as a matter of fact I've been pulled over and ticketed for speeding twice on my 109 :redfaced: with them on, once in LA and once in NC and they never said anything about them. :cop: :'(
