• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heading down the road! What a long strange trip it's been! (In the best way possible)

Yup, I just sold my more recent Spyder and am moving to Denver. (Sniffle!)

For the first time in many years it will be a move without a motorcycle.

Moved to AZ in 2004 from Denver to take advantage of more year round riding (smart!)

Stopped riding my Honda two wheeler after developing balance issues due to Parkinson's disease in 2005 (Major bummer!)

Stumbled across Spyder info on internet (2007) while searching against all odds, I thought, for an affordable trike (dumb luck!)

Searched all over AZ and CA until I found a dealer who did not insist upon marking them up (got lucky again in late 2007!)

December of 2007 flew to CA and picked up my new 2008 Roadster (GS SM5), had a great ride home (notwithstanding the electrical problems leaving me marooned after dark in the San Diego desert area and needing to be towed back to a dealer in SD - New bike models have bugs!)

2008 through 2013 "Rode it like I stole it!" (LOVED IT!)

Felt a lot flattered and a bit embarrassed by the constant overwhelming attention while on the road (yeah I loved it!)

Late 2013: Addle-brained 17 year old took it out from under me in a me go straight/ he turned left in front of me in a very full intersection (Totaled my baby!)

Later 2013 - got a new baby (also yellow) Spyder ST with automatic and cruise (Totally cool!).Rode that like a mad man too!

December 2015 - doc says no more driving or riding...

I joined this forum on 12/31/2007 - thanks Lamont and the rest of y'all. It has been fun! Be back soon to see if I have goodies any of you might "need".

Those darn doctors sure know how to take the joy out of life. I wish you well in Colorado and hope that you find something that gives you joy to take the place of Spyder riding.

LOSS OF SPYDERING

....That really :cus::cus::cus::cus:, I hope they can find a Med that will help you....possibly allow you to get back on....     ......Mike

Sorry to hear about your health and riding situations, I can empathize on both counts... arthritis put me on my 2012 Spyder and now in 2016 may likely end my riding days.

I was stationed in Denver at Lowry Air Force Base 1964-1965 for about 8 months, was lucky enough to experience the cold and warm weather. Fell in love with Denver and Colorado... many great natural sites to visit and explore. Have been back a few times to re-enjoy the experiences.

Wish you the best during your transition and in your future path.

Sad news...

Don't think your ready to give up and will find something you will be able to do in the great outdoors....and Colorado has a lot of outdoors..:roflblack: do wish you the best and hope you will stay here with us your still family here...

It takes a lot of integrity to give something this important to you up, and I just want to say how much I respect your decision.
