• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Headed to the Hospital in the morning

Ouch! Hope your surgery goes well and recovery is relatively painless. Don't make any major decisions while you are high on pain meds.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I have had 2 surgeries on my left foot in the last 8 months. Both times required zero weight on the foot for a month. That is the hardest part of recovery. Then comes a walking boot for another month each time. After that, easy weight on the foot. The left foot is easier to deal with than the right. At least when I got the boot, I could drive and ride the Spyder. (never told the doctor). The best to you and keep us posted..... Jim

Dave so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope the surgery goes well and you have a quick recovery. God Bless, my friend.

Good luck and speedy recovery, Dave. It almost makes me home sick for my job as a physical therapist at the rehab unit in the hospital, which I left not that long ago. I'm sure you''ll do well with recovery.

It can happen to any one of us. Sorry for your injury and get well soon. Left foot huh? Hope you've got an SE cause you can be tootling sooner than if you had SM . That is if mom allows it. LOL

Hey Dave, we won't take ANY of your advise while you're on those painkillers and we'll try to decipher anything you try to write. ;) Three weeks after we bought our Spyder last Nov. I had to have a triple by-pass and doctor said that I couldn't even touch it. But I did buy lotsa stuff to install on it once I was given clearance. By the way, you're not allowed in my messy shop. I'm usually toooo tired to clean up after a project.

I just found out that my daughter tripped over an "invisible rabbit" (her words) going downstairs; she's in a boot and hopefully won't have surgery. Hope you and she both have a quick recovery!

Damn Dave, when you do something you really do it to the max. Hope it all works out well for you. Let us know when you can. Tom :spyder:
