• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Head pipe color.

Just looking to see if my head pipe turning a blue color is normal?

A blue head pipe usually means your machine is running a bit rich. I know that's what it meant on HD's. I can't speak to the Rotex. I have no idea how they're set. I do know that mine runs a bit rich, at least it smells that way. Haven't checked the color of the pipe. Maybe someone else will chime in here with regard to tuning.

Normal...

In most cases because of the sharp bend in the header pipes they tend to blue. If you are not getting any warnings as to running rich or lean you should be fine. If you made changes it may be the reason but the spyder will adjust the mixture pretty well on its own. If you made competition type mods sometimes you will need a fuel controller but I have not seen many that really needed it....

with a single wall exhaust pipe, blueing is the standard for a motorcycle exhaust, especially closer to the exhaust ports.

What Chupaca said. However if your pipe is light gold in color, you should ask your service tech to check it.....(IMHO)
