• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HowTo: Head & Fog Light Install Video on an RT

Outstanding post, I appreciate it. I'm going to tackle that job in the near future. I like how you edited for time, made it painless to watch. Nice lift too! What brand and how much?

In the process of installing LED Headlights and fog lights. The video made it a simple task, but 2 items I got hung up on I thought I'd bring up. On my 2018 RTL I have the USB and 3.5mm audio jack in the frunk, and the grommet needs to be poked out with a screwdriver before lifting the frunk off. Similarly, if you have installed a battery tender harness into the frunk by going through the rubber plug, it will also have to be disconnected before lifting the funk off. I lifted mine with the wires still attached, and being as it was the first time lift of course I couldn't simply re-hang it. Had to holler for help.

As an aside to all the folks who have replaced the left side driving light cover with the frunk still mounted, I say congratulations! After trying to get the left side cover off and back on with the frunk on the ground I would suggest this; Remove the frunk, it's easier. Follow the video step by step, get a helper, and lift it onto a creeper or roll around mechanic seat. Easier to access, easier to see the yellow positive wire.
