I want to thank you. You got me thinking when you mentioned a charitable beneficiary in another thread. I wonder how many know what the Magog trip (get together) is really all about? It is more than trying for a Guiness Book World record.

I missed it the first time I read about it. Of course I'm probably the only one that did miss it.

I for one, have no idea what the Magog Spyderfest is about-- other than a large get-together and trying to break a record.

So how about sharing what the Magog trip is actually about instead of keeping us wondering?

"The Spyder Club of Quebec has partnered with Children's Miracle Network to help sick children." It goes on to mention small children "who are disease in their bodies and others who are struggling against hunger and poverty." And, it says "Be proud and become an angel with three wheels participating in a large ballon launch of hope."

Thats exactly right so their are a few reasons to go. help the children commarodarie and the record. Besides when did spyder ryders need a reason to go for a ride...

There is a $5 donation for that part of it. I have no idea what other means they may be asking for donations or if they are.
