Having surgery on Friday the 13th

I had a kidney transplant on ’07 but they left my native kidneys alone. Well after repeated bleeding, the last one I lost 25% of my red blood cells in 4 days :yikes:, I was told my native kidneys had to come out. I told the doctors I was not going to have the surgery until after SpyderFest! You have to have your priorities right! :2thumbs:

Well it’s time to pay the piper. I will be going in for surgery at the UW Madison hospital on Friday the 13th to have both of my native kidneys removed. This will keep me off my GS for about a month :gaah:. This will be the longest period I have not been able to ride since I got the Spyder one year ago.

Please keep me in your prayers.

You will be in our prayers. Friday the 13th is a lucky day for surgery and hair cuts (I'm getting mine cut on the 13th) don't let anybody tell you different.

Speedy recovery to you.

Remember, only look at the spyder; don't ryde it or is that don't drive it?

Jeff, you've got it. Prayers for you and your doctors. Glad you held out for Spyderfest...now go get yourself repaired!

...praying God continue to bless you and keep you in the palm of His mighty hand...

Prayers that your surgery goes well and recovery is quick an uneventful. I hope you are back on your Spyder before you know it. Don't rush it though. Give yourself time to heal. Your Spyder will be there. Your health is important. Take good care and post up how you are doing during your recovery.

I had my left kidney removed due to cancer and within 6 weeks was raking a three hour road trip. I wish you all the best in your surgery and recovery.

My wife already said that if I can't DRIVE that means I can't RIDE ether.

I'll have my BlackBerry and computer to keep up with Spyderlovers and will keep you posted.

I had complications with the transplant and had to have a second surgery 5 days latter. I hope this one goes better.

My wife donated her left kidney and they removed it liposcopically. My brother had this same surgery in November, it took 48 staples to close him up. I won't even be able to get leg up high enough to set on the Spyder and go varoooom varooom.

Time to head to the hospital0 :yikes: :pray:.

Prayers for a successfull surgery and recovery. My wife had a kidney transplant three years ago. It took about 40 staples to close her up.
