Has BRP Fixed the DESS Modules?

I think ( just my @ cents here) that the DESS problems have do do with a faulty " little black box" that is not made by Can Am. Once they got it right ( from an off site manufacture) the DESS problems seemed to have stopped. I have replaced the original ( 2014)with a later one part # 710004916. The old one was made In India and was # 710004190. Haven't had the DESS signal of death in years and feel confident to take my :spyder2: anywhere.

In 2015 I started a very long thread about the DESS module and the issues/problems that I had.


Since than I have not had the DESS signal of death in years. I also have the part # 710004190.
I also take/ride my spyder any where.

I haven't had a problem on 2020 after about 4,500 miles and 6 months.
I know, that's only one data point.
