There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Has anyone used a Toyo PXTR1 91V Rear tyre? Thoughts, opinions?

Has anyone on here used or have an opinion on a Toyo PXTR1 91V tyre? The original fitment is bald and I don't seem to have a lot of choice in Britain

Not personally familiar with this tire. But I did find this article. The information on this tire seems to be that it is quite good in dry, a bit suspect in wet. But it appears to be a decent tire. Still, you are not restricted to a 225/50R15 OEM size. A 215/60R15 or even 205/65R15 will also work well on the rear of a Spyder.

The one thing I will say is that a Summer Performance tire, in general, will not perform well below 50 degrees F (or 10 C).

If you do go with this tire, please let us know what you think of it.

Thanks for your reply BajaRon. 50 degrees would be my only concern in Scotland but would drive accordingly. If I choose this tyre, what is your suggestion for running psi?

Depending on your loaded weight, 20-22 PSI would be a place to start. You may find it what we call 'Greasy' at colder temps. Just be aware.

Even though the specs on my 2014 call for 225/50/R15, I went with 225/60R15 because it fixed the variance between the bike's speedometer and the "real"/GPS speed. Now my GPS speed and the speedometer are in sync. YMMV.

Not available, he checked.
Vredestein is a tire that you should be able to get. Though the size is different, they work well in dry, wet, and colder weather. Sizes 205/60R15 and 205/65R15 in the Quatrac do nicely on the Spyder.

The Continental ContiProContact is also a tire that you might be able to get.

Thanks for all the input, I now have a serious dose of "google mania" from all the searching, eyes and brain burnout. Will try to make a decision tomorrow.
