• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried this Cat-back muffler?

All you are going to get from this system is a different sound and a lighter pocketbook. If you're searching for performance, invest in a stage II. I should know because I've done all that, and so have many others. Honestly, I think you'll get the same answer from anyone with experience in both exhaust and engine tuning.

I just wanted rid of the heavy hot catalytic convertor under my feet. The OEM noise level is fine with me, along with the OEM performance.
Then simply ditch your cat. I have used both Baldwin Iron Works and RLS cat deletes. Both are excellent quality, but are distinctly different. The design of the RLS does produce a slightly deeper tone and a bit more back pressure. The Baldwin is quite a bit cheaper. IF you plan on using your OEM rear muffler, I'd say go Baldwin. The stock muffler itself will produce plenty of back pressure. IF you plan on adding a aftermarket rear muffler, I'd say go the RLS route. Either way, with using the OEM muffler, I'd leave out the baffle on both the Baldwin/RLS deletes.

This has been interesting... I asked if anyone had tried this muffler and got no replies on that, but I got a lot of good info on cat deletes etc. I saw this muffler when I was browsing for a back up camera. I was curious as to why a company would do the R&D for the muffler and not delete the cat? Is it to protect your warranty? It is lighter weight than the stock one. I do like the sound of it out on my computer speakers for what that is worth.

My 2026 S2S has a backup camera. I can’t say I use it much. Unless I had a very specific use for one, the mirrors do the job pretty well.

I wouldn’t buy one if the S2S didn’t already come with one. It was fun at first, but after a few times, I don’t even look at it now, the novelty wore off fast.

That was just the nudge I needed! Thanks Troop. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Baldwin. I'm gonna leave the baffle out and stick with the stock muffler. (y)

I would assume removing the cat voids the warranty?

Why?

Here in Oz, to void the warranty, the manufacturer would hafta prove that removing the cat actually CAUSED whatever failure it is that's subject to warranty, and I suspect the United States have similar 'Warranty Rules' over there - they certainly did back when I was posted to and worked in Seattle back in the '70's, surely they haven't been repealed? 🤨
