• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone replaced their OEM Grips with aftermarket?

I am thinking maybe replacing mine with a Domino grip. 7/8" bar, the left side seems like a no brainer. I'm wondering about the throttle tube. Will an aftermarket grip slide over the throttle tube? Can I remove the factory grip from the throttle tube without damaging?

At this time I'm not considering the foam slip over grip covers that are readily available.

I think we're stumped, here's a thread from a few months ago:

I've since bought a '19 F3S, so in the same boat.

I think you can find some help with YouTube, I think I've seen a video. That right side is a process with the fly by wire, and you have to be careful! Good luck!

I have not personally done it, but I have seen some of the earlier spyders with the iso grips installed. I have the grip puppies on both of mine and love them.

For the past four years, I've been using Lamonster's "Leather Like Grips". I like their smoothness meaning there is no texture to them and no worries about them getting wet as water rolls right off. Like other brands, they are fairly easy to slide over the oem grips with the right lubricant such as hand sanitizer or regular household rubbing alcohol. Good luck with your choice!

I have had ISO grips, foam grips slip overs, and now Lamonster Leatherlike slipovers. I really liked the ISO grips, I think they looked the best and they were very comfortable. I used the grips for a Honda Goldwing. They did block the heat from the stock grip. Foam grips are an easy slip-on mount, comfortable, block some heat, broke down soon. Leatherlike grips, easy slip-on mount, comfortable, block some heat, but it still gets thru on high. Too new to tell how long they will last.

Over the years, I have used Grab On, Grip Puppies, Lamonster Leather Likes, and Grip Buddies Lites. The Grip Buddies Lites rock!! Nice grippy texture and thin enough that the heat comes through. My least favorite were the Leather Likes. They get really sweaty in warm temps.

You are not using gloves? I have the lamonster leather likes and have no issues with sweaty hands with them using leather gloves.

With my Leather Likes, I wear Held (brand) ventilated gloves every warm weather ride, and like you, I've never had a problem with sweaty palms. And, yes, in summer, it DOES get HOT here in NW Minnesota where I live.

I really wanted to put on a set of Domino's. I'll try the Leather Like grips for now. A lot of good reviews.
