• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Has anyone installed the DynoJet PV-3?
If so can you please let me know what
differences you have noticed. And do you
like it? If you had the chance would you
buy it again? Thanks for any info it will
be very helpful.

Installed: Yes
Custom built map: Yes
Differences: Smoother throttle response, fans turn on earlier, better performance, slightly better mpg at normal riding - slightly less at high speed (75-80mph) cruising.
Do it again: Yes

I have the PV3 and the Pedal Commander on my '20 RT. I ride 1-up and like speed. If I had to give up one of these devices, I would give up the PV3 and keep the Pedal Commander. As Troop said, gas mileage sucks if you push hard and the added power is not worth the range loss. My mileage dropped ~15% with the tune on my tour to Yellowstone last spring. I had to re-flash to OEM mid-trip and didn't notice much difference the rest of the trip. The Pedal Commander is clearly my favorite upgrade (after suspension).

Curious as to what you got for mpg's on your trip? I have a 2019 F3S and it has the 89t rear drive pulley versus the other Spyders' 79t. I'm pulling over 4.5k rpm at 80. With my Shad luggage/luggage rack-top case loaded, along with 22" windshield, I can still manage around 30 mpg at cruise set 80mph. I easily get 40+ when just generally bopping around.

I was getting ~26 mpg with the tune going from NJ to SD. Re-flashed to OEM for the rest of the trip at 30 mpg. 75-80 mph in all but the parks and towns. Buddy (Jeep Mech) riding with me said it smelled rich w/tune in.

I assume the RT gets a bit less mpg than the F3.

Gotta say, if the cost of gas doesn't come down before my first trip, I'll likely flash back to my stock tune for the trip. At a difference of .80/gallon between 91/87 octane, I'll enjoy the stock tune + cheaper gas + Pedal Commander. Until then, full performance mode :)

The most impressive change, to me, going with the tune that came with the PV3 is the torque increase.
Yes, dropping the 0 to 60 times better than a second is OK.
Have not tried the additional top speed.
Can't say much about the additional 300 RPM's.
But, let it fall back to 40 MPH in 6th gear and then roll on the throttle. It just picks up and goes. Also nice not having to downshift to pass.
Would I do it again.............YEP.
From what I have found any hit I take in fuel mileage is caused by right wrist. :2thumbs:
