• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone installed a RT trailer hitch on a RS?

I'm trying to find a trailer hitch that will work on my 2008 GS/RS that has the BRP Givi bag setup. From what research I've done. The Bushtec won't work with this setup. I saw a post on another site where a 2010 BRP hitch was installed on a 2009 RS. Bushtec rep was not sure if their hitch would work with the Givi's. Any feedback and advice would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks,
Randy

Randy; Glad to see you on here again!
The one on E-bay or an MMG or Brp hitch will work with the bags, as they are all swing arm mounted and would not interfere with the bag brackets.
Are you still on the 21 day schedule on the tug?

I used to ride with Givi bags and an I7 rack. When I picked up the Bushtec hitch, I realized I didn't need side bags anymore. If I am going far enough to need side bags I just hook up the trailer. 2008 GS.

I have the GIVI bags and I had the Can Am dealer install the RT hitch...Fits like a glove!!!..I had them install a Hopkins converter and have had no issues..
