My Spyder's name is Charlotte, from the children's book, "Charlotte's Web". It suits her. She's definitely a 'she'.

I have not named mine yet but the wife calls it the "Blue Bomber" based on its size compared to bikes on the road.

One of the first times someone came and talked to me about my Spyder they said "that looks like a Fun Machine"
and it has sort of stuck, I am on Fun Machine II now.

Funny thing. When someone talks to me about mine, they always say it looks like a transformer.
