• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

I ride a 2013 RT Limited with a Stars and Stripes theme which I had modified to place an Eagle on the front. So I call it "The Patriot"
My wife rides a 2014 white RTS which she just got. She is calling it "Pearl".

The first one: BlueSpyderByte
Second one: The White One

Both registered as such with Geocaching Tracking Stickers so Geocachers could "discover" the bikes.

No Really! Have you or your GF, Wife, Partner or Significant Other for some unknown given your Spyder a "Name?" It seems that my/our Spyder RT now is called "Baby." I didn't know exactly when It received it's name but evidently it was a while ago. When I asked the GF why she always called it that, she said "It Just Fit!" So "Baby" I guess it is!

DOUBLE B. (Short for black beauty). Black beautys gave me a rush in college, now shes giving me a rush every time I sit on her.

I am old and not very origional

The '16 is "Big Red" The '13 was "Old Blue" Although there isn't much originality on the surface in the name, the new bike with just a few more cubic inches and an auto shift make it twice the bike of Old Blue. But even with all the issues, Old Blue gave us a lot of fun and I thank her kindly and hope her new owner loves her and cares for her as kindly as we did.

My forum name, my license plate and my bike's corbin seat all have the same name displayed, others here call me TB or Ticket or Bait.

Alfie - As in "ALF" - from the TV series. Because so many people ask, "What IS that?" So I tell them, "It's an Alien Life Form" but I call him "Alfie." Their reply? "Oh...." Then usually followed by a smile and a nod of their head, "I get it....."

:riding: Me 'n Alfie

Shadowfax - Gandalf's Steed from Lord of the Rings.

Shadowfax was "the Lord of all horses". He was a descendant of Felaróf, of the race of the long-lived Mearas, the greatest horses of Middle-earth. Shadowfax was capable of comprehending human speech and was said to run faster than the wind. Originally belonging to the House of Eorl, Lord of Rohan, Shadowfax was too wild to be tamed by the Rohirrim. Eventually he was given to Gandalf the White by Théoden, the 17th king of Rohan. [1]

Shadowfax's coat is described as silvery-grey in daylight
