• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Keeps Changin'

First, it was our Plastic Pony. Then we morphed into the Tupperware Turtle. Now, my wife calls it Beauty. Being the man that I think I am...I call it The Beast!!! When my wife is not around. :roflblack::roflblack:

"Topper" . . . folks my age will know that if Topper is good enough a name for Hopalong Cassidy's white ride, it is good enough for my white ride, too!

"Therapy", Because thats what I get when I ride it. I get away from the mother in law that moved in 6 months ago and get a little piece an quite(well sort of). So I just say I'm going to get a little therapy and my wife knows i'm going for a ride and i'll be back later.

When the wife drove ours home for the first time, she got off and said "We've had a talk and her name is Ruby". Finished the matching trailer and it got named "Tuesday".

I just live here.

Because my bikes live in the attached barn, and because I grew up on a farm, they don't get names until they've stuck around a couple years and become pets. My dad taught me that you never get attached to anything your going to trade, sell, or eat. :yikes:

Mostly they all just get called "she" (why are bikes and boats always feminine anyway)

I don't name vehicles, always thought that was kinda dumb...I mean weird.

But my wife calls it "another" mistress. :dontknow:

.

Aragog, (Harry Potter's giant spider). and Sharknado...or Snarknado - we haven't settled on that one yet. :spyder::spyder:

That's an easy one! :D

They're expensive!
They end up taking most of your spare cash, and ALL of your time!
They look best in the moonlight; far away from home...
They look even better than normal with a few "tasteful accessoires" (or farkles!)
If they're not running right; nothing else in your World matters!

And...
They can be VERY cranky at times!

But all of the aggravation is worth it; when the ride is so sweet! :2thumbs:
(Should I have just mentioned that?? :opps:)

Bumblebee.
