• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has Anybody tried one of these?

Tire inflator

Got one as a gift 5 years ago. Used it on my bicycle and car for years, now on the Burp.

Still working great, just used it today.

Great tool, gauge is accurate. It is slower on larger car tires.

How about The $12 one at Harbor Freight with built in gauge and 20% discount. Works on my 2013 RTL trunk plug fine. oops $9.99 on line

For me I would say the advantage is that before I go out on a ryde I can check the air in the tires and quickly adjust without having to go to the nearest service station as I don't have a compressor at home. Certainly it could potentially travel with yiu if need be. I would use it at home mostly on pre-ryde checks!

I like your way of thinking. A lot of extra stuff to carry for "what if" situations. In all my time on the :spyder2:'s I have never encountered a situation where I needed to inflate a tire while on a ride. Now--I have probably jinxed myself. :roflblack::roflblack:

Whatever happened to the rechargeable one Lamonster sold

I have one that I carry with me. I haven't used it much but has always worked when I wanted to use it.

Air

I have nail seeking tires! We have made lots of repairs over the years. A few trips ago Ann picked up a sheet metal screw in her trailer. Fixed it and aired it up with our Aerostich compressor. Works great, very small. Plugs into a battery tender hookup.

Have had one for Bout 10 years

:D That's a GREAT price! :congrats:
When you get it: please let us know how well it works! I'm specifically curious about the battery-life...

I've got an anniversary at the end of the Month... it's time to lay down a hint or two...

Quality construction, holds charge well. Used it for bike tires, now spyder tires.

It is slow however, it will top off tires, but don't think
it could fill back tire from flat on a charge, never tried

Also it needs 110 volts for charging.
