• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hartco/Diamond seats

Not with my RT but, a few years ago I had one on one of my Goldwings. It was OK but not equal to several other seats available at the time.

I have a hartco on my wing, don't really like it too much. I would go another route next time.

Had a Hartco on my wing. Very hard seat. Not up to the comfort of a RDL! Tom :spyder:

That's a really good question...
Everybody is built differently, and has different needs. The manufacturers can only put one seat on the bike, so they design it to fit the most possible people. This often means that it ends up fitting almost nobody! :banghead:
But I've had two RTs, and they both had the OEM seats on them for the entire time that I have ridden.
But I have made adjustments to them...
sheepskin seat covers
a backrest on my 2014
An Airhawk for my Missus on the pillion pad...
floorboards on my 2010, and highway pegs on my 2014...

(Yes... your feet and legs affect how your bottom feels!)
