Many moons ago I worked at a riding stable. A lot of the saddles hat wet spots on them from female riders when they came back from a ride.

Thats because they didnt want to "relieve themselves" in the bushes!

Was out riding with a group of women at Ft. Sill, OK. One of the ladies definately had to go. I turned around and played watch. After she was done and had remounted, the soldier in the ghilly suit that she (and I!) missed, stood up and waved with a BIG grin on his face!

off-side mount

I have a good friend thats a Dept of Public Safety motor patrol trooper. He said they off-side mount because it places them away from traffic and if the heel of their boots catch, the bike is pushed into the stand and not over onto its side. That made sense to me.
