• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trade-ins by unhappy Spyder owners, perhaps?

:roflblack: perhaps but across the road at the Canam Dealership they have 4 Harleys for sale from unhappy Harley owners. Its the "circle of the consumer" similar to the "circle of life" just a slightly different business!

I bought my RTS from a Harley dealer in Joplin, MO. The previous owner had been a Harley rider who couldn't get his wife to ride with him. Turns out she didn't want to ride on the Spyder, either. So it worked out for me.

Well I guess that is one way to get Harley guys into the dealership. Nice neighborhood, too. I wouldn't walk that street with all my weapons. :yikes:

Have to agree..!!

maybe so but all three have simular mods, wheels no fenders and dual pipes.
looks to me like their just trying to get in on the spyder market with custom spyders.

:agree: Just what I was thinking...

Yep I was wondering if these were 'crash recovered' or something which would explain the custom paint and wheels. I'm assuming with the front wheels being non-standard nanny will not be happy.

Very interesting indeed. There has to be more to this story. :dontknow: At that price they should sell pretty darn quick.

We have a Harley dealer in St. Louis metro area (Ted's) that is a Can-Am dealer along with Harley. The sales guy I talked to at the time was a tried and true Harley guy but recommended the (cheaper) Spyder RT over their tri-glide that we also looked at. I found that to be pretty telling.
