• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hard cases for my Spyder

I have the Industries 7 bracket with included Givi hard cases. Do a search; these are durable, carry a lot, fit well, and look good on the Spyder.

Yes Industries 7. http://www.industries7.com

Here's a third yes vote for the Industries 7 / Thibault rack system. I've had them since June and they work great. :2thumbs:

Yes I have the V35 bags. Every Spyder I've seen with this rack system has the V35 bags. I don't know why the other GIVI bags aren't as popular. :dontknow:

Thanks! They do look good on the bike and like they'll hold alot.

I didn't realize when I originally asked if they could color match that Industries 7 is GIVI since my husband is my "bike accessories" guy. But just wanted to say that I had the GIVI cases and top box on my Moto Guzzi and toured with them. Only problem I ever had was one of the latches broke loose on the first open/close but my dealer was able to get me a replacement one in a very short time and it was easy to re-install and re-key to my other locks. I used the inner water proof liners and loved them since they have the shoulder strap you can just hang over your shoulder when you hauled stuff into the motel room at night. The hard cases themselves would let just a few drops of rain in if you were riding in really, really hard rain for extended periods of time, but with the waterproof inner lines - not an issue. We even ran into flooding on one trip in W. VA to such a degree that they were flagging drivers at the bottom of a big hill because the water had formed a "lake" over the road. It was deep enough that even with my knees pulled up as high as I could go, my feet still made waves and the bottoms of the bags were "ski-ing" yet everthing stayed dry. Now that I know I love my new Spyder and will most likely let it share touring duties with the beemer, that's what I'll be getting, too.
