I hope that this day finds you warm, well fed, and with family. Do to some unfortunate personal events I will be spending my day at my home alone. But it is turning out to be a good thing.
I was watching David Letterman last night (and I very seldom watch him) and he said “tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in America”. So what do we Americans do on Thanksgiving, we see how much of a glutton we can be.
Then after stuffing ourselves as much as possible for a day, our masters then give us Black Friday to entice us to go out and spend money we don’t have to buy gifts for each other to celebrate the birth of a Holy Man , who preached of giving and not taking. Gets a little confusing huh. Anywayyyyyy:cheers:
So I am going to go out and find 5 homeless people and give them each a $10 bill. I was going to offer to buy them dinner, but maybe they are in need of something that is more important than a dinner. I am giving it as a gift to show my thankfulness and they should decide what they need, even if it’s something I might not agree with.
So in the spirit of Playing it forward that how I will be spending the rest of today.
