• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After checking out Spyderlovers.com for a couple of years, and renting a Spyder twice for trips in Colorado and the Tx hill country, I am excited to be purchasing my own Spyder. I found it on Craigslist at 3:00 Sunday afternoon and bought it at 6:30 Sunday night. At 7:30 tonight, a blue 2011 RTS with 1600 miles on it will be migrating to my garage. My wife and I are looking forward to many weekend trips and adventures.:clap:We have 3 kids in college, and 2 at home and it is time for us to have some fun.

I'm too new to my own Spyder to have any credibility, but for what it's worth I think that they are fine machines. Congratulations.

I'm just breathless that you waited so long after finding Spyderlovers.com to actually jump. And I'm heartened that you stayed with us so long. :welcome: and :congrats: on your "new" RTS. My first Spyder was also a 2011 RTS. :yes:You'll be very happy, I'm sure. Now start making plans to come to Spyderfest next spring so we all can meet you and your wife!!

Remember: :lecturef_smilie: When you show up late to the party; you had better be the best-dressed one there!
And with a bike like that: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! :2thumbs: :ohyea::yes:

Congrats! 2011 RTS as well and just did my 9500 mile service. Running great so in my mind 2011 is a good year to get!

Enjoy,
Bob

Well come on in!!

Way to go, even if it did take you a little while to jump onboard...

Please post some pics of the new Spyder. Thanks.

Have Fun and Happy Trails.
