• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just bought a spyder and had the dealership put an extention to lift the bars. I still am not satisfied and would like to know are there aftermarket bars that will permit me to sit up while riding instead of leaning over?
I appreciate anyones input.

On the home page of spyderlovers, you'll seen a sponsor's ad.....ESI. Look at their products. They make great risers.

There are three, the ESI risers (you need 3" with your BRP riser), the Kewlmetal handlebar/console replacement, and the Helibars pull-back bars. The choice depends on your tastes and needs. We have the BRP riser and 3" ESI risers and are very happy. They have some adjustment to suit your needs better.

"Spyder City" another sponsor also has 2 3/8 " and 3 " Billet risers where you don,t have to cut your handlebar and the stock look is maintained. The 2 3/8 Inch riser would work well with your BRP one and is only $99 and I bought One Yesterday and they are shipping for FREE!
If you search "Billet risers" there is a good explanation of installation!!:2thumbs::spyder2:

You can use risers as people have said OR you can buy pullback bars from Kewlmetal. I have the 5" but they also have 7" and 9". Depends on how short your arms are

Kewlmetal pullbacks

Thanks

Thank you all for the info. My hubby is a true blue HD man. I laughed when I caught him sneeking my new spyder out for a ride the first time. The second time i chased him down the street and told him to buy his own if he thought it was so great. I love my new bike.
