• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handlebars - How to Tell Them Apart

I purchased a used 2015 F3-S. Unit had carbon black bars on it - replaced them with short reach bars when I changed my linkage to position 1 (yes...I'm a fidget...just 5'1").

Does anyone know how to tell what type of bars are which? I would like to market the ones that came off the Spyder; however, I cannot seem to find a model number on them. I also cannot seem to find measurements that would correspond to stock, long reach or Attitude. I am thinking they are Attitude, as they were on the S and carbon black. I did email BRP. No help - they promptly directed me to my local retailer's parts department (so...you are THAT unfamiliar with your own product??)...very disappointing.

I figured my fellow Spyderlovers would know best!!

Do you have pictures?
If they were stock on the Spyder, more than likely you are correct they would be Attitude, part number 219400551

Actually, the “Stock” bars are called Stock Bars (I.e Position B), Adventure. The Attitude Bars are an accessory purchase. There’s Short Reach, Stock, Long Reach, Attitude and Drag (straight) Bars.

I thought the stock bars only came in chrome (these are carbon black) - either way, there is no model # stamped anywhere on the bars; and no specs available to assist in telling the bars apart from each other.

Stock bars on many F3's are black not chrome. My 2015 F3S stock bras are black.
