• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handlebar cover removal

I’m trying to remove the handlebar cover (had to yank out the cable for the frunk from the ignition as I locked my key in the frunk this morning) and now I can seem to get to the two middle and bottom bolts.
It’s impossible to get in there! Are special tools needed? Or am I just missing something?

Little checking

Just went out to check on my RS...they are 8mm bolts and there are six of them. Small socket, extension and ratchet will get them but you have to turn the bars all the way to one side then the other. I cut one end off the cover to fit some light switches but now can't remember if I took it apart or not....be sure to cover all the holes around your work if those bolts get loose they will fall down there never to be found....

On my RT that ignition key cap comes off by turning it anti-clockwise. I used one of my wife's rubber jar opener sheets for a good grip and it's about an eighth turn.
