Handlebar adjustments?

Is there a way to adjust the handle bars on an RT? I'd like mine to be about 2 inches farther away from me, but I don't know if it's possible. Is it something I'm just going to have to learn to live with?

nojoke Sadly, at this time, there is no way (that I'm aware of) that you can adjust the RT bars, sorry

:shocked: That's right..The new comfort seat will move you rearward about that much... It's worth a look anyway!

made a new skin and foam over the original seat ... cheap and easy to rebuilt it

I thought about that, but that would take 2 inches away from my wife's seat in the back and I don't think that would be a really popular choice...

There was some discussion about the comfort seat in some earlier threads, and I seem to recall that you would also get a new backrest pad that would gain you back some of the passenger's lost space...
But check on that with your dealer... pps:

While you need them farther back, several of us "fun size" ladies need them closer to us. Talked to a rep at Spyderfest and understand it is major ordeal to get approval on mods to RT from (not sure if it is the government or DOT) but it is very difficult. Hoping BRP will look into this as many of us need the handle bars to be in different positions

I wouldn't mind just a wee bit of a change in the angle of the pullback... Not so much to bring it closer, but to give it a bit more bend where the paw meets the grip.
