• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Handle bar riser for 2012 RT

Hi there, I'm a new spyder Ryder and not very tall. I'm 5'3" and if I sit in my seat where I'm supposed to, then I'm leaning forward so my arms aren't completely straight. Any suggestions that aren't going to cost me $1,000? Are there risers I could put on or is modifying the seat a better option? Thanks in advance!

:congrats:...&...:welcome:....A few members here have put 4 1/2 inch DOG BONE style risers on the RT and ST style handle bars .....however they did it themselves ....not by the dealer ..... so if you aren't a DIY person, it's going to be costly..... A company - RSI , makes risers that will work easily if you have an SE trans ..... but they can be modified if you have an SM also ..... Mike

I put a set of RSi 5" risers on my 2012 rts. I had to extend the wires and clutch line. wasn't a big deal to do, a little time consuming is all., the clutch line was replaced with a 50" braided line from Dennis Kirk and I used a 90 degree banjo fitting at the clutch reservoir. I thinks ISCI, a site sponsor has some pretty nice risers that'll work.
