• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2009 RSSM5 that I would like to put on some 4"1/2 risers on some can you guys recommend the best after market co. out there. I'm a new spyder lover at 72 years young.

Your 72 so am I

The best way to do what you want in raising the bars is a unit made by
HELI BARS . I went that route because I did not want to cut the stock bars
with the Heli bar risers they simply raise the stock bars looks great and works great
and a big plus no more back ache from bending over forward.
If you want to see them let me know I will post some pictures of mine

On the 2013 RS I believe one could simply bolt on the ST handlebars which are up and back. Not sure if the earlier RSs have the same mounting bolt pattern or not. Just an idea, certainly someone here with an RS would have tried it.

Great Idea

I don't know what the cost to buy a new set of ST bars would be but I bet
it's way more than the riser costs...
but I like that idea...
So far my Heli Bar risers work great up and back 5 1/2 inch no more back ache or shoulder
pain as well. you know us ole guys have troubles the youngsters don't have.
With mine it a 2008 GS I have done plenty to make it comfortable to ride, floor boards
and road pegs from Rivco and also a Madstad adjustable windshield....and yes an
