• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hand gesture.

I know it sounds kind of corny, but anyone ever think of a hand gesture specifically for Spyder owners to greet each other. I was thinking something like the way spider-man shoots his web out. Or does it look like a gang sign?

Spyders get the three finger wave, and Harleys get the one finger wave !!! :roflblack::2thumbs::roflblack:

:roflblack: You know what though? Harleys are usually the friendly ones that I meet and more willing to ask about the spyder. The sport bikes are a little more snobby.

Kind of mean thinking I'd say.Harley riders are the first to assist if needed unless one has an agenda like "1 finger wave" attitude. I only hope my acceptance and help by "Spyders" is the same as when I rode my HOG. Anyway thats my story and I'm keeping to it!!!

Heck first time I saw another RT on the road, I waived (hand up):welcome: and smiled ear-to-ear:D. I'm pretty sure they saw it.

wave...

How about the "Hallmark, or one pinkie finger wave"... For those who don't care enough to send their very best. :2thumbs:

When riding in the hill country of Texas (where I live), everyone hand signals. If they don't, I think it's because some of the curves are hard at the higher speeds - they are concentrating on the ride.

I watched a sports bike take one of the curves a bit too fast, and wiped the concrete barrier. Great case of road rash on his left arm. He did walk away, so that's a good thing.
