• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hand brake

well yesterday i took the tupper ware off the bike and today i took the bike across the street to my neighbors garage and the two of us worked on installing the hand brake system. well it took close to 4 hours to do it, we had to remove the muffler and my friend chuck did all the lower work and i did the handle bar work, we did get on each others nerves and ended up having to take the lower unit out again because one of the brackets that engages the foot brake was upside down right from the mfg. so long story short the job is done and i think it needs to be bled again but i would recommend that when doing the lower unit that you use a lift. now all that is left is to put the tupper ware back on but that can wait for another day .

Good news..!!

glad you both survived the install. But it is done..once you get the system bled and tested let us know how it works. Have heard it is not as effective as one expects. But then if you can imagine stopping your car with a hand brake....and a photo would be nice..congrats..!! :2thumbs:
