I see there has been a modification on here that coverts the parking brake of some of our Spyders? To a hand brake that I guess is used as a parking brake. Was or is there an issue with the electro/mechanical parking brake? I know some use it because of a lower extremity(leg ankle foot) problem. Just curious if there is an issue with the parking brake? Thanks

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's the thing....
as far as the change to the pushbutton electric parking brake goes....some have had issues with the cables coming off the drive wheel but I believe on the earlier models. Folks here quickly found solutions to that. There is the problem of battery issues not allowing the release of the park brake but then the mechanical did have some ratchet problems but not nearly as many and the battery is not a problem. Call me old fashion but I like the manual and have it all...manual shift, manual reverse, and manual park brake. Sadly not an option on many models today.....:banghead:
