• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I got about half way through the aerocharger turbo install last night.
So far so good, hope to spool it up tonight :2thumbs:

Don't you have some pictures or something to share with us? Just saying you are half done is not really fair. :D

This was mine "half done":

Houston we have boost

:2thumbs: everything went well and I have 6 psi :ohyea:

The data logger is missing a piece so until that ships and I get the shim kit from aerocharger which they forgot to ship I'm leaving it at 6 psi

I took a quick spin but the roads where wet

But wow instant power anywhere in the band you want it

This is gonna be a fun ride

After I get some sleep I'll take pictures and give more details how the install went

Turbos work on small displacement engine's. Superchargers work on large engines.
Actually, I've seen several small engines with superchargers, including a Honda 50 and a 650 Triumph, among others. The biggest drawbacks are the horsepower requirements to drive the supercharger, and the heated intake charge without an intercooler. As to turbos, I wouldn't characterize an Allison or Merlin aircraft engine as small.

Turbos

I've opted to seek a solution from military surplus for my RT, which entails removing my rear hard case covers and installing clusters of JATO (Jet-Assisted-Take-Off) bottles, similar to that seen on legacy bomber and transport aircraft for short-runway lift-off. There's a blank on my console switch panel, where I can put the ignition switch. Here's a larger-scale demonstration.
