• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am looking at getting a Ninja 650. I'm not trading in the F3, the F3 is for bad weather, construction zones, shopping and touring. The Ninja would be for track days and entertaining my 12 year old inner self.

So I see some listings but they are all asking MSRP. I don't see ABS models of any bike marked down much if at all. So how do I approach this? The MSRP is $7,600.

The F3 was already marked down by Can Am, so I didn't say much. Plus the trade in mucks up the negotiation.

Okay, I'll lend a hand.

New 2014 Ninja 650 ABS.........$5012.

If they can do this in a small town in north central Kansas, SOMEONE closer to you should do the same.

ALSO if you walk in with CA$H and talk only
with the owner or sales mgr. you will always do
much better than dealing with a salesman.

a vehicle purchase is 3 separate negotiations you do not want to mix together:

1. price of the vehicle (out the door...eliminates surprise fees)
2. price of an extended warranty (if applicable)
3. value of a trade in (is applicable)
4. financing

I don't mention anything about any other of the negotiations while working the current one...do not mix them, it's hard enough to stay on top of one at a time
