• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had to post this...

Veterans Must Remind Civilians

First of all - THANK YOU for the post.

As a retired Gulf War Veteran I could not have agreed more with the theme of the video, that Veterans of every age have an unending duty to teach the youth of this country the meaning of military service and its importance to our continued freedoms of every American.

Much like a parent teaches a child right from wrong or a school that teaches them reading, writing and arithmetic, all Vets everywhere must continue to educate the youth on what it means to serve a greater cause then that of serving only themselves. And to respect and honor those that chose to serve.

God Bless those that came home and may He welcome those that did not.

Well, I didn't want to say so but I also shed a tear over this one.

I did not serve in the military. I have many relatives (including father, grandfather and 2 brothers) that did.

My brother-in-law is the current Fleet Command Master Chief (Pacific). And I am very proud of all of them.

When I was young and stupid I didn't have much respect for the military. Even though my dad was X-Navy. But I have changed my tune over the years.

That's why I just had to post this one. Thank each and every one of you that have served your country in the military. I hope that we are teaching our children to understand what that means.

Wow - that was very moving. Thanks for posting. I'm a vet, but had a very cushy, stateside job, learned a lot, lived in a warm and welcoming community and met and married my wife. Hardly a sacrifice compared to those who gave so much more in far different circumstances.

God Bless you BaJaRon

It got to me as well. Having grown up in GreenEville, you're doing us proud.... Len

This one got to me. See what you think...

Thanks Ron, and yes, my eyes are wet too. Thank you to all the veterans and the families of those that serve and have served. I will be posting this to my Facebook page as well.

That was very moving....

Thanks for posting and thank you to all who serve (past and present). It is my heartfelt prayer that there would be no need for service in the future.
