• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lien Holder?

In Wisconsin, if there is a lein holder listed on the title, the title is held by the state until the lein holder submits paperwork that satisfies the loan. Of course you get all your DMV paperwork and a plate ASAP. The reason WI did this is becuase consumers were taking their titles to lending institutions that make loans against that title. What a mess with two lein holders on the same title. It's nearly impossible to sell or buy a vehicle that has two defaulted loans.

I bought my spyder rt a few weeks ago and still cant ride it. the dealer has not sent me the title and I want to take this back. I am upset . I got a great deal but I feel cheated ....I signed all the paper work and got the insurance but no title so I can register it or pay the taxes due here in nj. Did I say I am upset...

Glad to hear it is all worked out.

My wife works at the local auto auction. Every now and then she tells me of horror stories on used cars / trucks where the seller did not provide a title to the vehicle when delivered to the auction. In some cases the cars are sold by the auction based on the selling dealers assurance they have the title and will bring it in. In some cases the dealer requests the cars still be auctioned. When the dealer can not produce a title for whatever reason it does get pretty crazy.

A new vehicle should not be such a concern.
