• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had Steering Recall Completed But

I took my Spyder to have the steering recall done. Only other thing I asked the dealer to check was the sticky parking brake. Which by the way, they made worse than it was. I drove back about 10 miles. I am noticing that as soon as I release the throttle and the Spyder starts to slow down, engine is back firing. Never had any issues before. Has anyone else noticed this after the steering recall completion?

Had my recall done today along with two other Spyders from Lakeland. Two of the three had backfire problems when we got them back.As I rode mine more the problem has started going away. The problem is when they install the updates the computer has to relearn the O2 settings. The third bike that was done didn't have a problem because he still has the stock O2 sensor. That's all I can figure out.

Thanks for the information. We are going on a 350 mile ride tomorrow. Will see if the problem goes away after the ride.

Lamonster, have you had your steering recall completed yet? I have been sitting on the fence and waiting for them to work the bugs out of the "fix". I haven't had any steering problems and I am reluctant to take it in, especially with all the issues people have been having AFTER the "fix".

I'm waiting for it to quit raining here and then I'll have it done.

Sounds like they over did your parking break. Now the break is rubbing while you are riding.

Just wanted to help the...

gas and oil industry. They tightened the parking brake a little because it will help exxon, bp and all the others. They must have read the same fuel usage report I read. Gas consumption is down some in the USA.

SE5 runs great after the update... is all stock.

SM5 well... not so good... but it is not all stock. It has a hindle.
