• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Had a nice run today...

The wife and I went for a ryde down Grant Line Rd. from Elk Grove to El Dorado Hills, CA. We saw The Green Hornet at iMAX, then had a nice sunset ride home. Was perfect weather and we just absolutely had a blast!! :2thumbs:

I also got in a nice 160 mile ride on Wednesday 2/2/2011. Temperature was a nice 67 deg. but 20 t0 30+ winds. The wind was no problem till there were open fields or when on draw bridges. the ride through Colonial Williamsburg, VA was a hoot with getting more attention than the local sites and the endless questions with every stop for fuel or stop light. I learned a lot about handling the RT S in high winds especially on those draw bridges. The more I ride it the more I love it ... now to look for another seat. :spyder2:

I can't wait to get more adventurous on the spyder and start getting to other states and seeing the sites. I do know what you mean about getting attention, everywhere we went people were just staring at us and pointing, giving us the  and asking about the :spyder:. It's amazing that these beauties have been out for 3 years now and everyone still doesn't know what they are. I like it that way tho, makes me feel "exclusive" :D.
I know everyone talks about the "rockstar" feel when on the spyder, so I have a R* keychain
