• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been able to get in several rides this winter, but today's was fantastic! I am so ready for the riding season to really be here.

Where to? Saw what?

I did not include because the answers will not mean anything even to locals. I call it one of Middle Tennessee's best kept secrets. I rode to the Johnson's Creek Recreational Area. This is a TVA park "in the middle of no-where". To be honest, I am not sure which county it is in. I saw deer, turkeys, other wildlife on the way. I saw more wildlife around the park, and some beautiful water scenes. I guess mainly I saw God's handy work! Obviously I loved it.

Great....

Always good to hear someone out and about...:yes:glad you are able to get in some road time early...:ohyea::ohyea:

Wnter riding

Glad to hear that some folks are able to ride at this time do the year.
Where'd go, and what'd you see? :D :nopic:

In the UK, I have been riding throughout winter every week since I received my F3-S in November. Winter riding must be good experience for us newbies. Don't ride on snow, ice or salt grit roads.

It is now official...

Before yesterday I was able to sneak a couple quick rydes in between snowstorms...but now snow is 90% gone from my elevation. Roads are clear and enough rain to wash the salt off...but have to wait until about 10 a.m to leave..otherwise chance of icy stretches where sun hasn't hit...Temps low 30's...but blue skies...sooooo yesterday it was minimum required couple hours of ryding..so headed to those out of way roads that put me "where it is" in my gorgeous ryding area...snow on both sides of road...tall timbers...lake views...wind in face...just doesn't get any better. So even tho it i 59 days until I start the multi day trips..I am ryding and all is well!!!:yes:

us too!

We rode up to Estes Park from Lyons and decided to check out progress in the Glen Haven canyon. Enjoyed the tight switchbacks between Estes and Glen Haven and then got to the flagger where the construction starts. They only let traffic through with a lead car once an hour and we were still 30 minutes away from when that would happen. The clouds were rolling in and the wind was starting to howl, so we opted to turn around and head down Big Thompson canyon. That way we got to head back up through the tight twisties out of Glen Haven a second time (yeah!). I also think coming up out of Glen Haven into the Estes valley is the best view anywhere in that area. Don't get me wrong, there isn't a bad view in the entire Estes valley, but that one is by far the best :)
