Certainly an entertaining & quite impressive demonstration, but I reckon that there might've just been a few other things playing a major part in that display!! :shocked:

Things that immediately come to mind include vehicle power to weight ratio's; final drive gearing; possibly even primary gearing.... & I'm pretty sure that there are probably even a few others too!!

I'd be very interested in seeing them use those same or similar vehicles to give a demo of the differences between power & torque - since power is directly involved with how fast you can be going when you hit a tree on the roadside verge; but torque is demonstrable by how far you can push it down the roadside when you hit it at the same speed!! :yikes:
