H M TRUNK SHELF

i made this shelf for my trunk to gain back some storage space. couldn't really use it for much with the radio mounted to the floor. scrap wood for rear legs, three dollar pair of cabinet hinges, i had the 1/4 '' plexiglass, two bucks worth of industrial velcro, and a foot of clear tubing that i had. the legs get velcro'd to the rear wall of the trunk, and the shelf rests on the forward edge of the trunk. 5 or6 bucks out of pocket. this project required about 6-7 hrs of research, developement, construction, and installation........another Nickle 98 Mod...............:thumbup:

That's awesome! I'm going to put this on my winter list of things to do. Maybe I'll cover the lid with carpet to match the trunk liner I have in there now. Nice little false floor to stow away items that don't get used much but I want to keep with me! or a secret little drug smuggling hatch...:roflblack:
