• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

bought a set of led h/l's and put them in yesterday afternoon. fortunately
i didnt throw the body panels back on. about 2 this morning i woke up
thinking"i didnt check high beams". funny how your brain works. so that i
dont screw things up , what do i do to unstick it. go to the gurus for info
when you are STUCK with a problem! ill take the lamp out as soon as i get
back to the shop from my bike ride.[good for old people with arthritis].
thank you for any help.!!--irv toms :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Been there-Did that

Hi Irv. Yeah, it's just the way you stuffed the extra length of wire and that rectangular driver box back into the lamp assembly. The shutter mechanism is all at the top area. You'll see the two arms with the spring on each side of the lens area. You want to try to place the driver box more towards the bottom. So, just take out the lamp assembly and re-arrange things inside a bit. Video of installing the TricLED bulbs here. Even if yours aren't TricLED, the basic concept is the same.

You're Welcome. You can move those arms up and down with your finger and see what parts to avoid, and see that everything is all clear when you're finished. That won't hurt anything.

its amazing what you can learn by all the little details of something after
a "whoops". i now know all the fine points of the shutter system, and
also where the 2 leftover bolts went from behind the h/l fairing 6 months ago! . all in all a good morning
thanks to you guys. the spyder community rocks!!!! as always.
again:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::yes::yes::yes:

hi mike . lets just say i now have led h/l's and let it at that. it was my own
fault that caused the problem.

we have never ridden at night but now we can be seen in the daylight.
