• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

H-7 LED replacement lights

I purchased these from Super Bright LED's and this is the feed back that I sent them in their online rating survey.

The LED's and resistors are very functional as advertised; however at least on a Can Am RS spyder roadster you have to have the courage to modify the clips that hold the LED in place within the headlight housing.... The clips are not readily available; in order to get a new clip you would need to purchase a $271.00 replacement wiring harness!!!!!!!!!!!

The bulbs and resistors are truly plug and play; however the clip that holds them in the housing must have the opening enlarged in order to allow the LED body of the bulb to be properly seated in it's locking ring. This is a modification that you have to think hard about what you need to do before you start cutting. Mistakes are costly.

As to the bulbs performance, they are as the company name states"super bright". Don't have too many problems with oncoming drivers needing to contemplate too long before dimming their lights!!!

These give a crisp white light and there are none of the cut off shadows of the OEM bulbs on the road in front of you. You get a lot better look at the periphery of the road and I think a better chance of seeing an animal prior to it's darting out in front of you. Distance down the road that you can see to look for movement or obstacles is much further than the OEM bulbs, though I can't give you a hard number for the
amount of increase. They just give me more peace of mind or comfort when I'm rolling into work @ 0500!!

For the improved visibility I would highly recommend these for an under $100.00 upgrade to your lighting.

Without the ability to get replacement retaining rings if you make a mistake in your trimming of the originals, this may not be a modification that everyone wants to under take.

I have been in touch with BRP and they have supplied me with the contact information of the supplier that builds their wiring harness. As of this writing I have not yet been in contact with them. I will be contacting the manufacture of the wiring harness for and if they can make these hold down rings available to the after market I will let everyone know.

Overall I would do this all again for the better visibility in the dark that they provide.

Thanks! That would be great if we could just order the pieces that go on the bulb that hold it in the headlight. Please let us know if you hear anything about being able to buy them separately.
